NIKE Phantom - Barcelona, Spain
This project took place in an "GHOST" metro station in Barcelona, transformed into a unique venue for the launch of the new Nike Phantom football boots. The raw underground space became the backdrop for a bold and impactful lighting setup that matched the strong identity of the product.
I was in charge of the lighting programming and worked closely with the design team to shape the atmosphere of the event. The goal was simple: highlight the architecture of the station and use color and movement to create an energetic environment for the presentation.
The main figure of the event was Philippe Coutinho, who was the central character throughout the launch. The lighting design supported his presence, framing key moments and building focus around him during appearances and media highlights.
In addition to the main launch area, I also designed and programmed the lighting for a testing zone on the upper floor, where athletes could try the shoes. This space ensured clear visibility while maintaining the same visual intensity as the main event, resulting in a cohesive and dynamic overall experience.
