Shadow Dial - Sentosa, Singapore

Time is an intrinsic dimension of human existence, shaping how we organise, interpret, and experience reality. We structure our lives through measured intervals and repeated patterns, dividing our days into precise segments that transform the abstract flow of time into something regulated and concrete.

With this installation, I reinterpret time beyond numerical systems, approaching it as a sensory and immersive experience. Through the orchestration of light, shadow, and movement, motion becomes an alternative unit of measure, while shadows act as its visual imprint. Light assumes the role of a narrator, guiding the audience through a spatial and temporal dialogue.

Alongside the visual composition, I was also responsible for the sound and audio design, creating an integrated atmosphere in which light and sound interact to shape a unified perceptual experience.
