COMMAS - Saigon, Vietnam
COMMAS is an innovative club located in Saigon, Vietnam. I was commissioned to design the lighting, collaborating closely with the architects and interior designers, who shaped the space entirely around the lighting concept and vision.
In a rare and inspiring process, light became the defining architectural element. The brief called for a minimalist, forward-thinking space with lasting relevance. I developed a system of thousands of individually controlled LED pixels, creating sculptural three-dimensional effects behind the DJ.
Kinetic ceiling frames fitted with digital LEDs run on motorized rails, enabling dynamic light choreographies. The industrial architecture is enhanced by concealed digital LED strips that generate a subtle halo effect along the structural lines.
To complete the experience, I integrated moving heads and special effects such as smoke and CO₂, with LED and motor systems driven by MADRIX and lighting controlled through the GrandMA platform.
